Hello! 

I wanted to let you know about something happening this weekend that you might enjoy for FREE! 

This Saturday, October 23rd from 1:30 - 2:30 PM Momentum Dance Lab will be performing  at the Krutch Park Extension (the grassy area beside Gay street across the street from the downtown regal cinema).

This performance, "paint in motion" will be an improvisational performance where MDL dancers will be painting fabric designed by Bailey Earith while we dance.  We will be painting with our hands, feet, elbows and other body parts.  The performance willl include live music from Violist, Robyn James and will be photographed by two student photographers.  Videographer, Jeff Delaney of Tin Soldiers Productions will be on hand to record the event.

 

The canvases that get painted on Saturday will then be used by Fiber Artist, Bailey Eairth to create a wall hanging.  The final piece of art, an additonal improvisational performance by MDL and Robyn James as well as the final art video from Jeff Delaney will be presented as a piece in Momentum Dance Lab's spring show, Art Moves at the Knoxville Museum of Art.
