Artspecifier.com was started by Joyce Creiger, a pioneer in the art consulting business for over 38 years specializing in bringing art to the hospitality, health care and corporate environments. As a leader in the art consulting field, she has worked with designers and architects all over the world. With the available current technology, she feels it’s the right time to bring both US and Internationally recognized artists directly to the designers and architects through the power of the Internet. They have asked for this access and now it is possible for them to see hundreds of artists appropriate for their projects in one place and designed just for them.

Joyce Creiger is a graduate from Boston University with a degree in Art History. Joyce was involved in the formation of the Danforth Museum in Framingham and is a corporate art specialist. She is the former owner of Creiger Dane Gallery on Newbury Street, Boston, MA.

The success of this site depends on the quality and quantity of artists exhibited on www.artspecifier.com.  A unique invitation was sent to specific artists familiar to us at the time.  This site is not limited to these artists but we encourage other artists who feel their work is appropriate to submit for membership.  There is no guarantee all will be accepted but we encourage artists to send us their information for consideration.
